Update November 13, 2023: Divorce Certificate results now separate the effective date of divorce (which can be a weekend or court holiday) and the earliest date to file for the Certificate. Thank you for the feedback.
|Note about Filing: Deadlines set by the Rules can be changed by a Court’s Order within your proceeding or by Court Notice. If in doubt, check the Orders/Endorsements in your proceeding and CourtNoticeFinder.ca (Search [Your Courthouse] / Local Courthouse Notices).|
Note about Service: Family Law Rule 6 states that documents served over the weekend, on a holiday, or after 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, are considered served on the next business day.
This calculator will only get better with your feedback. What do you think?
